EEIP' Internship Programmes

School Internship Programme

If you are a motivated, enthusiastic, and socially conscious young individual with a passion for supporting children, the EEIP School Internship Programme provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Designed for students and young professionals from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, this school-based initiative offers direct exposure to the educational and social challenges faced by underserved communities.

Through engagement in EEIP schools, interns contribute to a variety of activities, including educational support, community outreach, awareness campaigns, creative arts and learning sessions, data collection, and administrative tasks. Along the way, they develop essential professional competencies such as leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The programme serves as a platform for both personal and professional development while fostering a spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and community service.

Young people aged 18 to 30 can participate in the programme through two-week placements during November and February, or through an extended two-month engagement during the Summer Camp. During their placement, interns work closely with students to strengthen language and communication skills, encourage creativity through arts and crafts, facilitate storytelling and drama activities using simple props, and organize interactive games and group learning experiences. By working directly with children and communities, interns gain a deeper understanding of grassroots education initiatives and enjoy a rewarding experience that leaves a lasting impact on both themselves and the students they serve.

The EEIP Core Office Internship Programme offers students and young professionals an opportunity to create meaningful social impact through EEIP’s education, health, youth development, DRR, emergency relief, and community development initiatives. The programme also strengthens the organization’s operational capacity and supports the growing network of EEIP programme and activities. Internship opportunities are available throughout the year at EEIP offices in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Interns gain practical experience in administration, project coordination, reporting, communications, research, social media management, documentation, and community engagement while developing their personal and professional skills.

EEIP helps young professionals build their capacities in their respective fields through practical learning opportunities, mentorship, and professional exposure within the Core Office Internship Programme. The Paid Internship Programme is offered every three months for selected departments and shortlisted interns after the selection process. The Unpaid Internship Programme is available every month for university students who are interested in gaining practical learning experience and contributing to community development initiatives.
